ATB Financial
ATB Financial is Alberta's provincial Crown financial institution, owned by the Government of Alberta and operating like a chartered bank (deposits guaranteed by the province, not CDIC). It offers residential mortgages (fixed/variable, conventional/insured), HELOCs, personal loans and lines of credit, business/commercial banking, and wealth management. ATB lends only within Alberta and is the first Canadian FI to finance residential outbuildings (in-law suites, carriage houses, garden suites, residential shops).
